Paul Askew Chef and Commissioned bronze flying pig statue

Chef Paul Askew The Art School

The Art School I was commissioned by The Caterer Magazine to shoot a set of portraits of Paul Askew, the Chef Patron of Liverpool’s fine dining restaurant, The Art School. Known for its gastronomic excellence, it is now approaching its 10 year anniversary. The restaurant, based in the city’s Georgian quarter, is in a building that was originally an art school. Turner’s Painterly Skys

The beauty of the sunsets in Southport, do make me feel very lucky. The fact that I can leave my house and within minutes be viewing the vast horizon, still feels very special.  The evening these photographs were taken, the sky was changing by the minute. From oranges, to pinks and purples, with a range of both subtle and vivid colours. It was spectacular and definitely a night to sit, appreciate and exhale.
