The Siena International Photo Awards

The Siena International Photo Awards

This year I am beyond delighted to have had my work recognised on the world stage, receiving a Commended award at the internationally acclaimed Siena International Photo Awards (SIPAContest). As a commercial photographer, accolades from within the industry are prized and The Siena Awards are considered one of the most prestigious photography competitions in the world. Each year, tens of thousands of entries are submitted from across the globe, with photographers from more than 140 countries taking part (Forbes). Images are judged by a distinguished panel of internationally renowned photographers, editors and picture buyers, making it one of the most competitive contests of its kind.

SIPA’s hospitality in Siena was nothing short of extraordinary. From vineyard lunches and tours through Tuscany, to a grand awards dinner accompanied by a breathtaking light show in the Piazza del Campo, we were truly treated like royalty. This is certainly an experience I will not forget.

The Awards ceremony took place at the historic Teatro dei Rinnovati in Siena, Italy, followed by a series of high profile exhibitions showcasing the winning works. My work was exhibited at the Art School of Duccio, in Siena.

To have my work recognised by SIPA and exhibited in such a prestigious international competition was a truly special experience. I feel incredibly grateful and humbled to be included among so many talented photographers from around the world.

With a background in branding and graphic design, photography for me has always been more than aesthetics, it’s about storytelling. I strive to capture not just how something looks, but its atmosphere, its emotion and the detail that brings it to life. My photography helps businesses share their story and market themselves more effectively. To know that this vision resonated with such an esteemed judging panel, and was shared with international audiences in Siena, is both an honour and an inspiration.

The experience has left me inspired and energised to keep pushing creative boundaries and to continue crafting imagery that resonates and connects with people.
