National Trust Walk About

National Trust Great Days Out UK

New or old, what’s your preference?

As they say, all work and no play, makes Pat a dull photographer. So the long weekend saw me taking a trip to Tatton Park, with the camera. I DO LOVE a National Trust property! We live in a world where new and pristine are the norm, and items are resigned to the rubbish heap, just because they show some age. The National Trust however give us glimpse into another era. So much of the beauty they present us with is houses with age, that have had another life. Which we get to experience. Always a fabulous way to spend a bank holiday.

Another great weekend, saw me on a jaunt at Quarry Bank National Trust. I always think it’s quite special, to visit somewhere new and have the time to really look at what’s in front of me. Having the opportunity to just stroll and take in a buildings history is a really treat. But it’s now Monday so back to work.
